- Architecture
Our goal as designers is to create a constructive dialogue between functionality, practicality, and aesthetic possibility. Our challenge — and our passion — is to capture and convey through design that vibrant dialogue.
Our work demonstrates our belief that good design combines both concrete and abstract values. We seek works of the imagination that convey a high regard for the site, the building context, the surrounding colors and textures. We seek designs that convey a powerful civic statement, a belief in human dignity and [possibility]. We seek designs that enrich the community in whose midst our buildings reside like good neighbors. At the same time, we seek designs that respect the client’s budget and the reality that actual people will conduct business, work in, and visit the buildings we imagine. We seek designs that create safe and secure environments, those that offer the greatest operational efficiency. And we seek designs that effectively address today’s needs, but contain the flexibility to adapt to the different populations and approaches that may arise down the road.
We serve our clients best by thoughtfully balancing the need for abstract and concrete, by fostering an energetic dialogue between [possibility and reality], [i.e., what can be dreamed of and what can be paid for]. In this way, we have served clients in large and small communities, those with large and small budgets, those with large and small programs.

- Interior Design
Brennan Architects’ designers work closely with clients to convey through interior design the unique culture of a business or agency. Whether our canvas is an existing building or new architecture, our designers work to catalog functional requirements, consider expansion capacity, and examine areas where consolidation might be possible to achieve greater efficiency. This assessment process allows us to develop an informed design, one that imagines an interior space that best contributes to the range of activities that take place within it.
- Urban Design
Brennan Architects’ master planning and urban design teams work with clients on the regeneration of communities. We unlock value by providing solutions that integrate economic opportunity, environmental responsibility, and social possibility, all of which give life and energy to a civic space.
