Brennan Architects designed 13 self-contained apartments in the heart of the university district of the University of South Carolina.  Each unit consists of four bedrooms, with two bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen.  This residential community is planned around an external courtyard, with walkways serving as communal relaxation areas.  The design includes living space for an on-site caretaker and porter.

We took advantage of the steep site to provide a number of parking spaces and storage for student belongings.
