Brennan Architects provided programming and architectural design services for this 112-bed detention facility, which consists of general population  housing units, a segregation housing unit, a dormitory, as well as with support areas, kitchen, intake and release, a 911 communications area and Sheriff’s Office. This project was designed to allow for expansion as the County’s needs grow.

Brennan Consulting & Training Services (BCTS) was initially retained to provide Pamlico County with a Feasibility Study that included population forecasts and a mix of options so the County could make informed decisions about capital expenditures. Pamlico County subsequently expanded the contract to include architectural design of the new detention facility, as well as Transition and Activation Services.
